MITSUBISHI GALANT

The Mitsubishi Galant was introduced in the market since 1969 by the Mitsubishi Motors. The word “Galant” in French means “chivalrous”. It is often considered as the Compact or mid size car with body styles of Wagon, Sedan and Hatchback. At present the Galant is in the ninth generation, offering various advanced options and additional features to suit the present condition of the demanded buyers.

From many decades, the Mitsubishi Galant played a fringe role in the Family Sedan segment. The particular model is best for those who are budget oriented, as it represent good value. The small back seats in the car are quite disappointing and hence it is not considered as the class leaders cars. Even the uninspiring interiors designs, mediocre powertrain and execution are what make you disappointing.

Folks who don’t want to be in the crowd or not looking for latest glitz, then buying Mitsubishi Galant are perfect choice. The “Galant’ is suitable for those who are looking for the budget oriented car with reliable and inexpensive functions. The Galant is available in two trim levels suitable such as SE and Base ES. The SE includes alloy wheels, stylized trim, automatic climate control, rearview camera, and heated front seats, navigation system, Bluetooth, upgraded sound system and power driver seats. The ES trim levels offers only basic such as full power features, air conditioning and CD player.

The other options even come in various port installed accessories such as an iPod interface, leather upholstery, remote ignition and rearview camera for only ES models. The Mitsubishi Galant is powered with 2.4 L of four cylinder engine, and is further mated at the automatic speed transmission of four. Though the power output is weak with 160hp and fuel economy of the Galant too is mediocre. The one thing which makes the car unique is the cabin interiors designs and styles, with cascading console centre and blue bright backlight at night. It looks quite boxy and is constructed with the help of plastic materials.

If we overlook the power, the Mitsubishi Galant is fun to drive as the smallest family sedan. The ride is composed and smooth with quite good transmitted steering wheel. Overall the feature and refinement of the car is surpassed with the newer competitors that are available in the market.
