Koenigsegg Trevita is a true supercar jewel which represents new design heights in the automobile world. The name Trevita comes from the Swedish language and it means – three whites. At first glance, the Trevita’s body looks same as the CCXR’s, but with one big difference, the new Trevita is fully shaped in diamond white carbon using the new Koenigsegg Proprietary Diamond Weave technology.
With the new and unique technology, Koenigsegg has managed to coat fibers with a diamond finish. The process was fully developed at Koenigsegg headquarters in Angelholm Sweden, where the fiber treatment is conducted carefully in small quantities, prior to further processing the prepreg material.
Swedish exotic supercar makers Koenigsegg revealed a range-topping marvel of engineering achievement in the Agera R, a supercar boasting as much as 1,099 horsepower depending on your fuel of choice.
The rest of the spec sheet is equally ludicrous, with maximum torque listed at 885 lb-ft at 4,100 rpm, and “over 737 lb-ft” from 2,700 to 6,170 rpm when drinking the same E85 ethanol needed to produce the max horsepower rating of 1,099 at 6,900 rpm. Switching to 98 octane unleaded will drop the Agera R’s output to just 940 horsepower.
Koenigsegg will surprise us with a new supercar next week at the Geneva Motor Show in Geneva. Called "AGERA"(which means "to act" in Swedish or "ageless"in Greek), the new supercar will be limited to 16-20 cars per year. The first orders will be taken at the Geneva Motor Show, while the first customers will receive their cars at the end of the year.
The Agera is powered by the same 4.7-liter V8 that delivers 910hp at 6850rpm total-redline and a maximum torque of 1100nm at 5100rpm. The car only weights 2832 pounds and de0 sprints to 62 mph in 3.1 seconds and 124 mph in 8.9 seconds. Top speed climbs to over 245 mph.
Koenigsegg has created a new race car - the CCGT, based on the production CC-model range. The CCGT complies with the ACO and FIA GT1 regulations.
The CCGT engine is based on the Koenigsegg CCX production engine with the superchargers removed but enlarged to 5.0 litre.
The reliability of the race engine is expected be exceptional as it is based on the proven strength and durability of the signifi cantly more powerful road car engine.
The minimum weight allowed for a GTI race car is 1,100 kg and most manufacturers struggle to meet this target, having to undergo massive weight saving programs.
CCR is the extreme version of the CC, a supercar made by the Swedish manfacturer, Koenigsegg. Now, ten years after the project's inception, the CCR exhibits several technological improvments to engine, chassis and body. As a result, the CCR has become the fastest production car ever, as proved by a recent run around Nardo proving grounds.

February the 28th 2005 - Driven by Loris Bicocchi, the Koenigsegg CCR broke the production road car speed record, achieving a new official top speed of 388 (387.87) km/h at Italy's Nardo Track. Thus, the CCR has broke the official McLaren F1 record of 386.7 km/h, which was set using a prototype called the XP5.
Koenigsegg say the CCR was 'technically standard', having tires, ride height, engine configuration, wheel geometries, gearbox, clutch, brakes, boost pressure matching the production car's specification.
The record run was celebrated at the 2005 Geneva Motor Show, where both the record car, joined by a silver counterpart were on display. Since that time, the CCR has been approved for inclusion into the Guinness Book of World Records.
