PORSCHE 911

Porsche are known for their unique designs that have become an identifying feature of their cars. The Porsche 911 Turbo is no exception to this fact. The head lights are of a circular design and resemble the one's sported by the VW Beetle. The bonnet is long and smooth design with big air dams at the front.

The Porsche 911 Turbo sits on 19'' Pzero wheels that give the car a sporty look. The wing mirrors are also quite aerodynamic, which help to decrease drag. The doors of this car features slits towards their ends, which points to the car's rear place engine. This car's rear is a very compact and it also features a big diffuser spoiler. The tail lights are shaped in a curve, while the rear also features two tail pipes that again show the car's sporty appeal.

This car is strictly a two seater model, being able to carry only two passengers, and that's why it features only two doors. For storing luggage, Porsche has provided some space in the front of the car, which can easily hold a suitcase, or two small ones. The interior of the car is obviously quite luxurious. The steering wheel is a three spoke unit that does not feature controls for audio or Bluetooth on it, as this is a true sport car, and doesn't want the driver to get distracted.

The dashboard features white dials, which are a standard feature across all Porsche models. The cabin features automatic climate control as well as good bolstered seats and a lot of high quality materials through the interior. The rear space can hold 2 small golf bags, however there are not many cubby holes in the interior of the cabin for locating various other daily items.

The Porsche 911 is known for its great handling, and its Indian variant is no exception to this rule. While the rear tyre size is 30, the front tyre sizes are 35. While, the car's suspension is a bit on the stiffer side, the car still makes for great daily running conditions.

In India, Porsche has provided the 911 Turbo cars with only one engine option. This is a 3.6l 6 cylinder model that is capable of delivering 487Ps of max power at 6,000rpm, and a peak torque of 63.22kgm at 5,000rpm. This engine is paired with an automatic 7 speed gear box that gives the car an acceleration rate of 0 to 100kmph in an amazing 3.6 seconds, and a top speed around 240kmph.

For braking features, the Porsche 911 Turbo features carbon ceramic disc brakes both for the rear and front. These are further helped by the manufacturer's own features like Porsche Stability Management, a limited slip differential system and a Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake safety system. These are further aided by the regular braking features such as EBD, traction control and ABS.

Porsche has also taken care of providing this car with great safety features including four air bags, Bi-Xenon head lights that are adaptive for better visibility, crumple zones as well as seat belts that have pretensioners. The Porsche also good fuel efficiency, when you take into consideration that is a sports car built for the rich and when you compare it with its competition. The 911 Turbo is able to deliver a fuel efficiency of 6kmpl in city, which increases to around 9.6kmpl on highway.
