BUGATTI VEYRON SS

The Bugatti Veyron Super Sport or the Bugatti Veyron SS is one of the most respected high-performance sports cars in the world today. It is respected for its speed, performance, and looks. Almost in every aspect, the Veyron SS has been ranked higher by the auto lovers worldwide. In a sentence, the Veyron SS can be summed up as being 'owners' pride and competitors' envy'.
Many people have rated the car's performance to be as good as a Formula One race car. But is it really that good or are there some chinks in the Veroyn's armor? Let us take a closer look at the Veyron SS and find out whether Bugatti Veyron SS rightfully deserve the praise it gets or is it blown out of proportion.

BUGATTI VEYRON

The fastest road sports car in the world, one of the most ambitious projects in automobile history, entered the production phase after ages of development time. The Bugatti Veyron 16.4, built mainly by hand, finally reached its original goal, packing 1001 hp under its hood, or 987 hp in SAE numbers.

The sports car, capable of more than 250 mph, is driven by a 16-cylinder mid-engine, that at 710 mm long is no larger than a conventional V12 unit, and due to its lightweight construction weighs only about 400 kilos. Its compact dimensions are due to the unique arrangement of its cylinder banks in a W configuration. Two VR8 blocks, each with a fifteen degree bank angle, are joined in the crankcase to form one engine. Both eight cylinders are set at an angle of ninety degrees to each other and are aspirated by a total of four exhaust gas turbochargers. The engine delivers 987 hp at 6000 r.p.m. and provides a maximum torque of 923 lb-ft at between 2200 and 5500 r.p.m.

BUGATTI GALIBIER

A super-exclusive brand plots the world’s ultimate sedan to replace the world’s ultimate sports car. With imposing size, Neo-Deco styling, and at least 1,000 horsepower, the Galibier will be as fast as Bugatti’s vaunted 16-cylinder Veyron--and priced accordingly.

What It Is

The 2013 Bugatti Galibier is the high-performance ultra-luxury sedan that’s been expected since Volkwagen Group’s top-tier division unveiled a like-named concept in fall 2009. It’s also the replacement for the 2-seat, mid-engine, mega-power Bugatti Veyron 16.4, which ends production in 2012 at some 450 units after earning wide acclaim as the world’s ultimate sports car. Promising to be the world’s ultimate sedan, the Galibier will cost at least $1.6 million in today’s money, yet will be more numerous than the Veyron, with planned production of 1,000 to 3,000 units according to Germany’s auto motor und sport magazine and Britain’s CAR and Autocar.

BUGATTI AEROLITHE

The Bugatti Aerolithe Concept is a futuristic sportscar created by design student Douglas Hogg for his final project at Coventry University.
Created for the year 2025, it is inspired by the original Bugatti Electron Aerolithe, a legendary prototype presented at the 1935 Paris Motor Show and featuring a body made of Electron, an aeronautical grade magnesium alloy.
The Aerolithe prototype gave birth to the Atlantic models, built in just three units. The prototype itself was lost before WWII and is currently being recreated  by a team of Canadian car restorers.
